Did You Know Intuition Is Stopped When Your Stressed Out?
How To Push A Button...and Make Stress Disappear!

Have you ever found yourself in an extremely stressful situation and all of a sudden your Intuitive ability to figure things out has vanished? Did findyourself wishing that you could push a button and make it go away?

Well it is possible and we're actually going to teach you how to do that here today.

Before we start, let me give you a little bit of background to help explain. Imagine you're walking down the street or maybe going for your morning jog when out of the corner of your eye you see a dog running at you barking. Naturally, your heart skips a beat and you try to run away as quickly as you can. You make it but not before the dog manages to nip at your heel and leave a little mark for you to remember him by. Now although this was scary, the major damage will come in later days each time you see another dog. Your body has created an incredibly strong and negative emotional connection to dogs which could possibly be with you for the rest of your life. What's important for our purposes here is the illustration that a single incidence has created a strong and long lasting emotional response to a particular stimuli. In Neuro Linguistic Programming this is called an anchor.

Teach Yourself How To Get Into A Peaceful State

What we're going to do here is teach you how to communicate internally with yourself to create your own anchor of a peaceful or serene state. This way you can fire this off whenever you find yourself moving toward an anxious or difficult situation. Worthy of note are a few important points when beginning to setting an anchor.

1. It needs to be set in a unique spot on your body. (One that you don’t touch all of the time)

2. The emotional intensity needs to be significant and pure (the emotion must not be mixed with others).

3. The anchor needs to be set when you're at the height of the emotional intensity

Okay, let's begin... What I’d like you to do first is to take a few minutes and brainstorm to think of one specific life event from your past when you were completely at peace. Maybe you were at the beach, or a picnic or maybe hiking by yourself in the woods. Whatever the scenario, it needs to be something that is personal and important to you. Once this is done we need to establish your anchor point. If you haven't done anchoring before it is generally sufficient to touch your thumb with your pinky finger as the actual anchor.


Now that you have a certain life event in mind and have decided on your anchoring point, I want you to sit down in a chair with both feet on the ground and your arms at your side. This way you can begin to relax your body. If you're having any difficulty relaxing take 10 deep breaths in through your nose and out through your mouth while counting them in your head. Once you start to feel your body relax, close your eyes and I want you to go back to the time when you felt at peace.

Now it's important that you make this as real as possible in your mind. What you are going to do is notice the brightness of the colors, the feel of the wind or the air or on your body, your face and your clothes. With your eyes closed, look around you and notice your surroundings… If there are people, hear them talking to you, feel their touch on your skin. Hear all of the sounds and see all of the sites and smell all of the smells and feel all the feelings that were happening to you during that time. Just lose yourself in the moment as if it were happening all over again.

It's important to notice whether or not your visualization has motion. If it does not, make it cinematic by creating motion in your head. See yourself moving and interacting with people around you moving. See the water or the wind or what ever was surrounding you in motion, make it real. What you're looking to do is create a movie that is bright and in high definition with beautiful crisp stereo surround sound that has you right in the middle of it.

But I've Never Done Anything Like This Before!

Now if you've never done something like this before it's okay if it takes a little while for you to conjure up that feeling of serenity and peace. It shouldn’t take more than a few minutes, but be confident that as you concentrate and add in all of these characteristics you recreate the same feeling of peace and serenity that came to you before. And as it begins to wash over you, lose yourself in it...

Now, once you feel that you're beginning to reach the peak state of serenity, you're going to touch you're thumb and finger together while repeating to yourself the word "serenity" three to five times. Once you've done this, release your finger and thumb, stand up and shake off the peaceful state in order to "reset yourself". This way you can check your anchor to see that it has been set. Upon resetting your state, close your eyes again, touch your thumb and your pinky together again and think the word "serenity" over and again and notice as the actual feeling of peace and serenity begins to flush back into your body. Feel free to perform the anchoring exercise again in order to strengthen the anchor. Now you can "press a button" and make all of that anxiety just go away...
